Sprouts | Age 2
Our Sprouts program is for the young 2 year-old who is just venturing away from mom and dad. At this precious age, your child is beginning to branch out and feel more comfortable outside the family unit. We want to build on that emerging independence by providing a nurturing environment where your toddler can discover and explore.
This is the perfect place for your little one to begin this joyful process. Your child will feel safe taking those first steps toward independence in our Sprouts class! Your child must be 2 years old by September 30th to enroll in this program. at the time you wish to enroll. Our staff:child ratio is 1:5, with a maximum capacity of 5 children. Children do not need to be potty trained for the young 2s and we do not potty train in the young 2s. Your child will be welcomed with gentle, caring voices, reassuring faces and positive reinforcement.

Tiffany Ariyaprakai (Sprouts Lead Teacher)
Ms. A graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Family and Child Studies and recently worked at Boston Children’s Hospital prior to moving to Chatham. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist with experience providing normalization and therapeutic coping for children in the hospital setting.
Lindsey Berntsen (Sprouts Assistant Teacher)
Ms. B is a mom, child speech and language pathologist and now LHCP young 2s assistant! We are so lucky to have her expertise in our school. She currently attends Long Hill Chapel and has one child enrolled in our preschool!
