Scouts | Rising 5s

Our Rising 5s program builds upon previous learning and will prepare your child for success in elementary school. Our approach provides teachers with the tools and guidance to accommodate children’s natural curiosity and to fully support each child while building problem-solving skills, confidence, and joy for learning.

We have a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates Chatham and Madison School Districts' expectations for Kindergarten.  We create an exciting setting that is uniquely structured for the needs of five-year-olds. Our Scouts have time to apply learned concepts with hands-on, meaningful activities, thus giving the teacher the opportunity to assess learning in multiple situations, not just with tests. The day will include time for intentional play that supports their learning and enhances their discoveries, along with high-interest, open-ended opportunities to explore.

Our engaging program is filled with activities that promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and faith development so your child is prepared to take on elementary school and beyond.  We set the foundation for school readiness and Christian character!
