Sunbeams | Age 2
Our Sunbeams class is for 2.5 year old children who are ready for extended time in preschool. We will only be accepting children who are 2.5 by September 30th. This toddler class bustles with activity. The children enjoy learning through sensory, hands-on, play experiences. Our program places an emphasis on social interactions, choice, and cooperation in a loving, Godly environment.
OUR APPROACH
Our curriculum and purposefully-designed play spaces cater to each toddler’s desire to discover and explore, while the teachers offer support and guidance to enhance the learning experience. There is time for independent play, small group encounters, teacher time, and group gatherings throughout the day. Pretend play, Bible stories, music and movement, sensory explorations, story time, letter, number and shape recognition, and more, are all implemented into your child’s day to enhance his/her early development. Your child does not need to be potty trained to be in this class. When children are ready to begin this process, we work with each family to achieve this important milestone. Our staff to child ratio is 1:7 with one teacher and one assistant, and a maximum capacity of 13 children.

Teresa was previously the assistant in our Rising 5s program and the lead on our Spanish enrichment classes. She is a mom to 3 girls and comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. We are thrilled to have her lead the Sunbeams class this year!

Add Play/Rest Option: 12:00 pm-1:00 pm (2 days a week)
2 Days: Tuesday, Thursday
3 Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
5 Days: Sign up for both classes
Early drop off is available at 8:30
