Sprouts | Age 2
Our Sprouts program is for the young 2 year-old who is just venturing away from their caregiver. At this precious age, your child is beginning to branch out and feel more comfortable outside the family unit. We want to build on that emerging independence by providing a nurturing environment where your toddler can discover and explore.
This is the perfect place for your little one to begin this joyful process. Your child will feel safe taking those first steps toward independence in our Sprouts class!
Your child must be 2 years old by September 30th to enroll in this program. at the time you wish to enroll. Our staff to child ratio is 1:5, with a maximum capacity of 5 children. Children do not need to be potty trained for the young 2s and we do not potty train in the young 2s. Your child will be welcomed with gentle, caring voices, reassuring faces, and a positive reinforcement.

Ms. Nicole
Head Teacher
Ms. Nicole is a mom of 5! She went to business school to get her degree but has always hoped to get into teaching. She was previously the 5s Assistant Teacher and is in her third year as the Head Young 2s. Her enthusiasm and passion allow her to teach while still being able to juggle her busy life!
Ms. Rebecca
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Rebecca was a substitute at LHCP and loved it so much that she joined LHCP as an Assistant Teacher and is in her second year! Ms. Rebecca has a degree in English and Education, and a Masters in Educational Psychology. She is a mom of four and truly enjoys being in the classroom!
Ms. Amanda Assistant Teacher
Ms. Amanda is a mom of 4 four and is in her first year at LHCP! This preschool holds a very special place in her heart as she is a former, and current, LHCP mom. We are so thankful to have Ms. Amanda on staff this year and she is very excited to be stepping into a new role here.
