Shining Stars & Shooting Stars | Age 3
Our 3 year old class is made up of active learners who enjoy investigation, exploration, and discovery as they refine and expand their skills and knowledge.
Our Approach
Through individualized instruction, multi-sensory activities, small group play, and large group learning environments, we build children’s faith, confidence, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Our Shining Stars are assessed throughout the year to evaluate developmental milestones and knowledge. Parent/teacher conferences are held in the fall and the spring to communicate development, growth and goals.
Christian values are incorporated into our curriculum on a daily basis. Our purposefully-designed classrooms provide appropriate and meaningful learning experiences. Enrichment activities enhance our well rounded curriculum. This gives our Shining Stars the foundation that leads to success in school and in life.
Your child must be 3 years old by September 30th in the year of enrollment and fully potty trained. Our staff to child ratio is 1:7/8 with one teacher and one assistant, and a maximum capacity of 14/16 children.

Ms. Erin Head Teacher
Ms. Erin is so excited to join LHCP. She has been working with kids her whole life and is dedicated to helping them learn and grow. She has worked in various levels of education, spanning from daycare to high school. She attends church at Long Hill Chapel with her husband and two daughters and looks forward to becoming an integral part of LHCP and the children here.
Ms. Shannon Assistant Teacher
Ms. Shannon has been part of LHCP since 2023—first as a substitute teacher, then as the assistant teacher for the Sprouts. She is thrilled to be working with the Shining Stars this year! A proud mom of three, Ms. Shannon’s daughter is a LHCP alum, making this school extra special to her. She finds so much joy in working with children and loves the energy, curiosity, and laughter they bring to each day.
